A console table bathroom sink gives you room on the table without taking up valuable floor space. In this way, you have room for your toiletries but are still able to maintain the room you may need. For example, with this kind of bathroom sink, a wheelchair would be able to maneuver all the way up to the sink as there would be room underneath the sink for the wheelchair. This type of bathroom sink has decorative legs or it can be mounted on the wall.

Vanity bathroom sinks are very popular today because of all the storage space they afford. You still have a lot of choice with this kind of sink as it can be a vessel sink or almost any kind if you have it custom built. Also popular in the master bath is the double vanity sink, which provides separate sinks for roommates or spouses, as well as plenty of counter space. Additionally, there may be cabinets and/or drawers built into the cabinetry, maximizing the space.

A pedestal sink can be square or round and is aptly named because of the pedestal base that supports it. It’s good for those half-baths or even a small full bath, and especially when you want to achieve a classy decorative look.

Wall-mounted bathroom sinks are also good for small bathrooms. The wall-mounted bathroom sinks of yesterday exposed the unsightly plumbing but today these bathroom sinks hide the plumbing within the wall so it can produce a classy look.

A vessel bathroom sink is among the classiest of the designer sinks. While it sits partially in the counter, most of the sink is above the counter. It’s perhaps akin to the ancient bowl that sat upon a table in the bedroom except that the vessel is mounted. Vessel sinks come in a variety of materials including glass, copper and stone and virtually any color and are relatively easy to replace.
